Delivery to Toronto
Neon Mfg. is a Canadian company, headquartered in Vancouver. Express shipping is included on every sign and most orders arrive 10 to 12 days after payment. Canadian orders incur duty, which the courier collects on delivery; it is not included in the quoted price. Every sign ships in a foam-lined, insured box with the power supply, the remote dimmer, pre-drilled mounting holes and the hardware. Most customers hang it themselves in half an hour; see how to hang a neon sign.
Good to know in Toronto
- Canadian orders are quoted in Canadian dollars.
- Exterior signs on commercial buildings in Toronto need a sign permit and usually the landlord's approval; interior and window signs do not. Your design proof is normally what the application needs.
- Canadian winters are no problem for LED neon indoors or in a window. For a sign on the outside of the building, order the outdoor build.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a custom neon sign cost in Toronto?
The same as anywhere we ship: most signs land between $350 and $1,400 depending on width and detail. A 24-inch wordmark is around $400, a 36-inch logo around $750, a 48-inch back-bar sign around $1,050. Prices include express shipping, the dimmer, the power supply and mounting hardware. Every quote is free and includes a design proof.
How long does delivery to Toronto take?
About 10 to 12 days from payment to your door, with express shipping included. Rush production ($150) is available if you have an opening date.
Do I pay duty on a sign shipped to Toronto?
Canadian orders incur duty, which the courier collects on delivery. It is not included in the quoted price. Express shipping itself is included.
Do you make glass neon as well as LED?
Yes. We quote LED neon by default because it costs less, matches brand colors and ships without risk of breakage. Ask for glass in the quote form for a classic bar or a restoration; glass ships within the US and Canada.
Do I need a permit for a neon sign in Toronto?
Usually not for an indoor sign or a sign inside a window. Signs mounted on the exterior of a commercial building usually need a city sign permit and the landlord's approval. Your design proof is normally what the application needs, though we cannot guarantee every municipality accepts it.
Can I see the sign before it is made?
Yes. Every quote comes with a design proof showing the sign at size, in your colors, with the price. You approve it before anything is made, and revisions are free.
