Custom Logo Neon Signs

A logo neon sign is your logo, drawn in LED neon tube on a clear acrylic backing, sized for the wall it goes on. It is the sign behind reception, above the back bar, on the feature wall in the photos, and in the window facing the street. We make them from the file you already have.

Send the logo, get a priced design proof within one business day, approve it, and the finished sign is at your door in 10 to 12 days. Every sign is made in our production facilities in Dallas, Los Angeles and Shanghai and carries a 2-year warranty.

What a logo neon sign costs

Logo signs are priced by width and by how much tube the design needs. Most of the logo signs we quote are 24 to 36 inches wide and land between $400 and $900. A logo with an illustration in it sits at the top of each band; a wordmark sits at the bottom.

Width Typical price
Under 24 inches $285 to $650
24 to 35 inches $355 to $545
36 to 47 inches $520 to $960
48 to 59 inches $700 to $1,345
60 inches and wider $980 to $1,590

Prices are from the quotes we sent in the last three months and include express shipping, a remote dimmer, the power supply and mounting hardware. If you have a lower written quote for the same sign, send it to us and we will beat it. See the full price guide.

How your logo becomes neon

Neon is a line, not a fill. The standard tube is 6 millimeters wide (8 mm and 12 mm are available for larger signs) and it can only bend so tightly, so every logo gets redrawn for tube before it is made. Here is what our designers do with the file you send:

  • Outline the shapes. Solid shapes become outlines. A filled circle becomes a ring of tube; bold lettering becomes its outline or a single stroke down the middle, whichever reads better at size.
  • Even out the line weight. Hairline details and thick strokes both become one tube width. Thin script gets thickened and letter spacing opens up so the letters do not merge when lit.
  • Simplify what will not read. Fine texture, gradients and tiny text are dropped or redrawn. You see exactly what was changed in the proof before anything is cut.
  • Print what tube cannot do. Solid color fills, gradients, photos and fine detail can be UV-printed directly onto the acrylic backing, with the neon tube outlining the shapes on top. That is how a full-color emblem, a mascot or a detailed crest keeps its artwork while still lighting up as neon.
  • Match your brand colors. We match each color in the logo to the closest of 23 LED colors. Two and three-color logos are common and the color count does not change the price. Color-changing RGB is available if your logo runs in several palettes.
  • Cut the backing to the logo. The sign comes on clear acrylic cut to the outline of the logo, so the wall shows through and the sign reads as the logo, not as a panel.

You approve the proof before production starts, and revisions are free until it is right.

Sizing a logo sign

Half of the logo signs we quote are between 24 and 36 inches wide. That suits a reception wall, a back bar or a storefront window. The rule of thumb: the sign should be about a quarter of the width of the wall it hangs on, and the smallest letters in it should be at least 2 inches tall or they will not read when lit.

  • Reception and office lobby: 24 to 36 inches, usually the wordmark alone.
  • Back bar, feature wall and photo wall: 36 to 60 inches, often the full logo with the mark.
  • Window and storefront: 30 to 48 inches, bright enough to read from across the street with the dimmer turned down during the day.
  • Trade shows and events: 24 to 36 inches, light enough to carry and plug in anywhere.

Tell us the wall width and where the sign goes and we will suggest a size in the proof. Some detailed logos have a minimum width below which the tube cannot make the bends; we will tell you where that floor is.

Why LED neon for a logo

  • Exact colors. Glass neon comes in a handful of gas colors. LED neon comes in 23, so your brand color is matched, not approximated.
  • Cool and safe. Runs on 12 volts, stays cool to the touch, no glass to break. Safe at reception, behind a bar and anywhere customers lean in for a photo.
  • Built to run all day. The LED tube is rated for 50,000 hours, about 11 years at 12 hours a day. Every sign carries a 2-year warranty, extendable to 4.
  • Dimmable. The included remote dimmer sets the brightness for the room and for photos.
  • Three ways to mount it. Wall mounted with the included hardware, free standing on a shelf or counter, or hanging from the ceiling or in a window. If your electrician wants no visible cord, the sign can be hard-wired instead of plugged in. Outdoor builds are available for the exterior of the building.

Logo signs for brands and multi-location businesses

We have produced sign programs for American Eagle, Delta, Bacardi and Charleys Cheesesteaks, and we make the same sign again for the next location. Once your logo is drawn for tube, reorders match the first sign exactly. For 10 signs or more, use the bulk quote form and we will quote the program as a whole.

How it works

  1. Send your logo. A vector file (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) is best, but a PNG, JPG or even a photo of the logo works. No file? Describe it and we will draw it.
  2. Get a priced design proof within one business day. The proof shows the logo as tube, the size, the colors and the backing, with the price.
  3. Approve and pay. Revisions are free until it is right.
  4. It arrives in 10 to 12 days. Express shipping is included. Hang it with the included hardware.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a custom logo neon sign cost?

Most logo neon signs cost between $400 and $900. A 24-inch wordmark is around $400; a 36-inch logo with an illustration is around $800; a 48-inch back-bar logo is around $1,000. Every quote is free and includes a design proof.

Can any logo be made in neon?

Almost any. Logos are redrawn as tube: solid shapes become outlines, fine detail is simplified and thin strokes are thickened so the sign reads when lit. You see the redrawn version in the proof before anything is made. Very detailed logos may need a minimum width; we will tell you what it is.

What file do you need?

A vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) gives the cleanest result, but a PNG, JPG or a photo of your logo is fine. If you have no file, describe the logo and we will draw it.

Can you match my brand colors?

Yes. We match each color to the closest of 23 LED colors and show it in the proof. Multi-color logos cost the same as single-color ones. RGB color-changing is available.

Does the sign come with a backing?

Yes. Every sign comes on clear acrylic cut to the shape of the logo, and the backing can be UV-printed with your full-color artwork so the neon outlines a printed logo.

Can the logo sign go outdoors?

Yes. Order the outdoor build for a sign on the exterior of the building. Indoor signs in a window are fine as standard.

How long does it take?

About 10 to 12 days from payment to your door, with express shipping included. Rush production is available if you have an opening date.
